Weaving Connections with Virginia Keft
Weaving Connections is a hands-on weaving workshop led by Muruwari artist Dr Virginia Keft. Working with natural fibre, Virginia guides participants through the process while sharing cultural connections and material knowledge. The workshop takes place in a shared weaving circle, bringing people together through making and conversation.

Dr Virginia Keft, a Muruwari woman, is a multi-award-winning interdisciplinary artist working across weaving, sculpture, painting, and installation. Her practice centres cultural connection, material knowledge, with work held in national and international collections. Alongside her studio practice, Virginia works with the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia on Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander programs and sits on the board of Firstdraft Gallery in Sydney.
