We all feel pressure not to waste time, but artmaking involves stopping and being. In the process of being created, the artwork dictates the pace, and as artists we must listen to discover how much time is required.

Dawdle presents the work of 3 local contemporary artists Julie Donnelly, Moira Kirkwood and Pilar Helmers. They all regularly exhibit both locally and nationally.

They invite us all to consider a different way of negotiating the world: a slowing down and a preparedness to consider things more fully. This approach enhances our enjoyment not only of art, but of life.
