This series presents a visual narrative of the night shifts impact on those who work it. The stories of resilience and fatigue are etched on the faces of Emergency services personnel.

Showing the impact of a 12-hour night shift of taking emergency 000 calls and dispatching ambulances to members of the public.
Revealing the subtle and profound transformations that occur in the space of just a few hours.

In the first frame, anticipation and readiness; in the second, fatigue, relief, and the unspoken weight of the night’s events.

Together, these portraits offer an intimate and unfiltered look at the vulnerability and dedication of those who stand guard while the world sleeps.
